The GED Test
GED Preparation Level 1 & 2 (3 classes per week)
Beginning with diagnostic testing, these classes review all areas covered by the exam: Writing Skills, Science, Reading Comprehension, Social Studies and Mathematics. You'll learn tips on how to take the GED Test and how to use the calculator which is allowed during one section of the Mathematics Test. Weekly attendance is required. Homework is assigned and a textbook is provided. Tutoring is also available.
GED Level 2 classes are scheduled Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:00-6:00pm and GED Level 1 classes are scheduled Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm, both for 30 weeks at the Westfield Athenaeum. A required Computer Literacy & Career Development course is scheduled on Wednesdays from 6-8pm at the Clark Building on the campus of Western Mass. Hospital, 128 East Mountain Road, Westfield.
